Ryan STA 1930's RacerI love this little racer a lot, the controls are to much fluffy but good for rolling around in the air. I started at Hollywood Airport, Santa Catalina (90,141,23) and traveled by air home to sweet Klein, S+R - headquarters.
The builder made the following entry: A milestone in aviation history. It has been said that this is the nicest looking plane every made. You be the judge and own one of the greatest planes ever made. Designed originally in 1934 by T. Claude Ryan, he of Spirit of St. Louis fame, the plane first took to the air as the S-T with a little 95-horse Menasco four cylinder, in-line engine in the nose. Boomerang Bailey
